Fullmetal Kingdom ~ Possible Couples?

I felt like doing a meme for characters who would be great to see develop something close to a romantic relationship. These characters never met before in their separate franchises, but in Fullmetal Kingdom, I'm considering these couples because they were fun to envision.

PS: Some of the characters will eventually end up with their intended soul mates, so don't worry if any of this bothers you. If you like the couples, then thank you. Remember, it's not a sin to express your opinions.

10. Selim Bradley & Eiko Carol ~ The relationship between these two is a friendly rivalry. Selim challenges Eiko while she and Vivi are attending school to complete a test regarding the history of a country. While Selim made an essay about Amestris, Eiko did an essay about the lost country of Xerxes. From that point on, the two seemed pretty close, until the fateful day when Selim revealed his true colors as one of Father's Homunculus soldiers, threatening her friends!

9. Vanitas & Dante ~ When Vanitas returned to the world of the living, he started hitting on Dante, the 'Mother' of the Homunculi. The two had a complicated relationship, but they sought one single goal, to become humanity's leaders and gods. Dante sought to use Edward and/or Sora to overthrow Father and begin a family of all-powerful rulers while Vanitas allowed it, knowing that she would never truly give a **** about the men she used.

8. Edward Elric & Xion ~ I know fans wanted more Sora & Xion love, but I think giving Edward some attention wouldn't hurt, right? Edward's blond hair reminded Xion of Roxas, so she approached him, hoping to get to know him and the people around him. Edward didn't trust Xion at first due to her relationship with Xehanort and the Homunculus, but after saving her life, Edward considered listening to Xion more. After that, the two seemed as close to one another as Sora was to Rose.

7. Terra & Winry Rockbell ~ Winry will be involved more with the adventures the heroes have, like the possible resurrection of Terra, who was possessed by Xehanort. Winry was instantly attracted to Terra when he awoke in front of her, but he wasn't just a face, Winry listened to Terra's story about his master, his best friend Ventus, and a girl he wished he trusted more, Aqua. Winry and Terra became good friends since then, however, this made Edward a bit tense for some reason...

6. Wrath & Namine ~ A savage boy from an island who was born a dead child to Izumi, then reborn into a Homunculus fell for the young witch when he first glanced at her. Namine was a bit hesitant around Wrath, but when his mind was overcome by Father's control, Namine felt a twinge of courage and wouldn't hesitate to reach out to the poor boy. Though he embraced his new role as a villain, Wrath couldn't help but remember Namine's kindness and start a conversation whenever their eyes met.

5. Dippy "Goofy" Dog & Riza Hawkeye ~ Goofy, Captian of Disney Castle's Royal Guard, fell for Lieutenant Colonel Riza Hawkeye the minute he saw her. Though Hawkeye was more of Mustang's ally and second-in-command, Goofy was not afraid to speak to her and help her when she needed it.

4. Heinkel & Aqua ~ A Lion chimera who was no stranger to battle couldn't help but kneel before the last master of the Keyblade. Aqua was quite taken by Heinkel's heroism in protecting Edward and aiding Darius, so when she wanted to chat, Heinkel gladly accepted. Heinkel and Aqua chatted with one another about their lives and how they were twisted by fate, but though Heinkel was almost beastly, Aqua could almost see the beauty in Heinkel's heart...

3. Riku & Sheska ~ Sheska was a bit skirmish and nervous around boys, and when she saw a tired sweaty Riku at her doorstep, it was no different. Yet while tending to Riku's injuries, Sheska was surprised to see the visitor aid her, and later on, he showed interest in most of her books. Sheska since then was VERY protective of Riku, even going so far as to try and shield him! This made Riku see how much Sheska cared for him, and because of that, Riku started to understand what Sora felt for Rose...

2. Alphonse Elric & Kairi ~ Kairi was Sora's first childhood friend, and to keep their friendship alive, Kairi went to great lengths to keep herself alive until she could restore the Sora she once knew before he was overtaken by the ones who wanted her dead. Alphonse though supported her attraction to Sora, but eventually, Al began to feel sympathy and love for Kairi. Kairi was fond of Al as a friend, but circumstances led to Kairi noticing Al's attractiveness towards her...

1. Sora Hughes & Rose Thomas ~ Since coming to Lior to aid the Elric Brothers, Sora and Rose became fast friends who supported one another. However, the two had a rough relationship when Rose's happiness was torn by the temple's false priest, Conello's defeat. Sora held no negativity against Rose, so even if she resents him, Sora would protect her. Rose also harbored feelings for Sora, stronger than she ever imagined, which was how she was actually strong enough to fight Dante's mind control!
